For the video of I'll be there for you, TRAXX is on the waters of Berlin. In July 2016, the VEHA departed from Berlin-Pichelsdorf heading south to the Glienicker Brücke and Potsdam. The outdoor shots were taken in front of the famous Wannsee lido (Standbad Wannsee). On the way back, rain clouds rolled in and in the heavy summer thunderstorm, TRAXX and the filming team reached the saving port in Berlin-Spandau, exhausted but happy. In November 2016, the studio recordings were made under the direction of cameraman Joachim Corvinus in a school in Berlin-Wilmersdorf, who also carried out the post-production of the video. The video was published on YOUTUBE at Christmas 2016.
Thanks to our friends and family for the exciting days of shooting and your support and Joachim Corvinus for the professional guidance.
With the new 2024 single WHEN THE DOVES CRY, the two musicians from TRAXX released a positive motivating synthpop song right to play in various radio stations over the world.
"From the ears directly to the heart!" Enjoy it and dream!
With the new album DOWN TO EARTH, the two musicians from TRAXX have fulfilled a dream: 19 songs, brand new or completely new and modern arranged on one album. In addition to some new songs like Hey Brother and Greif' nicht nach den Sternen (German language), it is above all the new and modern arranged versions of older songs that make this album what it is. Melodic pop songs like Angel of the Nighttime and Story of a fate date back to the club and live performances of the Berlin band TROUBLE (later GOLF) in the early 1980s and are very up-to-date today. And with the instrumentally arranged bonus track Sunset Glow, the two sound artists from Berlin show that they can also produce purely instrumental music, e.g. for film or video soundtracks.
The album released in 2014 shows the broad musical spectrum of the Berlin songwriters and producers. From the current love song I'll Be There For You to pop songs and swing to heavy rock in the anti-war song No Place To Cry, the musicians shine on this CD with 11 tracks in English and German. Except for the cover version of the Johnny Rivers track Secret Agent Man (released in 1965), all songs are original compositions by TRAXX.
The classic of the slow pop duet as a modern cover version of the well-known title
Hey Paula was rearranged and produced by the Berlin pop duo
TRAXX. Originally released in the USA by Ray Hildebrand and Jill Jackson (Paul & Paula) in 1963, the single sold more than 2 million copies at the time and reached number 1 on the
Billboard Hot 100 in February 1963. In addition to
Hey Paula, the EP released in 2008 contains four other tracks by
TRAXX, which show the broad spectrum of the Berlin songwriters from slow pop
You to hard rock
Rock'n Roll Is Back In Town in their own compositions.
